I am on xp sp3 5.1.2600.5857 tried, everything ok, if your machine can not,
I suggest you re-install xp sp3, then install winpooch.0.6.6, rename the
winpooch.sys and copy winpooch.exe and winpooch.sys , restart the
computer, everything ok, and then install your other software, install one
by one to see with which a software conflict, tell me, ok
win2003 also
