As soon as I open willow tree every option but main page and willow tree locker is grayed out. I need very exact instructions on how to load a save file on willow tree. I am just trying to edit some specific quests.

The PC version of Borderlands stores the savegame files in the "My Documents\My Games\Borderlands\SaveData" folder. They are named SAVE0001.SAV, SAVE0002.SAV, etc. It would be a good idea to make a backup copy of the SaveData folder or the individual savegames just in case anything goes wrong while editing your savegame.
1) Run WillowTree#
2) Click the tree icon in the upper left corner to open the load menu, then click on Open.
3) A file dialog will open. At the top of the file dialog there is a pull down menu, click on it then select "My Documents".
4) In the lower window, find the "My Games" folder and click or double click it (depends on your Windows settings which you have to do) to enter that folder.
5) In the lower window, find the "Borderlands" folder and click or double click it to enter that folder.
6) In the lower window, find the "SaveData" folder and click or double click to enter that folder.
7) Click on the savegame file (SAVExxxxx.SAV where xxxx is a hexadecimal number) then click the Open button at the lower right corner of the dialog.
