Just posted a thread about this but messed up the title. My apologies.
I always get this when I try to open WillowTree, which always crashes immediately upon starting:

I'm running Windows 7 via BootCamp on a MacBook Pro. I've replaced the x360.dll file as suggested in another thread. Firewall is disabled. Why is this happening????

What I see here is that the type of exception that caused the program to shut down is an Unauthorized Access exception. This appears to indicate that the user didn't have enough access to do one of the operations that WillowTree# tried to do so it failed with an Access Denied error, which caused WT# to shut down.
You can try running WillowTree# as an administrator to see if that will prevent the unauthorized access exception by right clicking on the WillowTree#.exe file and selecting Run as Administrator. WillowTree# does not require Administrator access to run far as I know, but the user must have read and write access to the folder WT# is installed in because it has to read and write its data files. Likely what has happened is you don't have write access to the folder.
This can happen if you install in a subfolder of Program Files since by default normal users do not have write access to those in versions of Windows later than Windows XP. You wouldn't even be able to extract the zip into such a folder without running your ZIP extraction program as an administrator probably. Usually extracting WillowTree# in a subfolder of your Desktop or My Documents folder will ensure that you do have read and write access or you will have to figure out how to change the access of your folders manually in Windows, a process that is more complicated and depends on the sharing options you have set on your computer so I can't explain it briefly.
I have had people report being unable to run WillowTree# through a virtual machine on a Mac before, so I'm not sure this is going to fix your issue but I would definitely try running as an Administrator to start with.

Looks like that did it! Thanks!
