I noticed a possible bug with the new version its nothing big just thought I would post it here, when I tried to open my LVL 69 Hunter it kept giving me an error about level and experience points need to be adjusted, I had to open the file with WillowTree#v2.0.0 Beta10r13 and lower the EX points and then it would open it , other than that it worked just fine keep up the good work.

1) When you say new version which version number are you talking about?
2) When you say it "kept giving me an error" do you mean that the popup window popped up over and over in one session so you couldn't even use that version to edit your savegame because you couldn't get out of the dialog or do you mean that at the start of each editing session it would pop up this complaint message and after saving your file it would again complain the next time you loaded it?

1) I was using v2.1.0 , just noticed that 2.1.1 is out haven't tried that one yet.
2) The error would only pop up when trying to open the LVL 69 hunter save all other saves would work fine, sems that the EX points were to high cause after using the earlier version of willowtree and lowered the EX points v2.1.0 would open the file and I could edit it.

You have still not clarified whether it was popping up repeatedly and you couldn't get it to close at all or if it only popped up once when you started the program then allowed you to still use the program after clicking ok. This is a huge distinction that ranges from "completely unable to use this program" to "minor inconvenience".
Anyway, I've raised the maximum xp allowable in version 2.2 which will be out soon so it'll stop telling people their XP is too high. It will accept up to the highest positive 32-bit integer value, which is what one of the earlier versions of WT set it to. I don't believe having too high of an XP value will prevent saves from loading so WT probably doesn't need to restrict it. If you do set it to whatever the max is you have to understand that it will cause you to level automatically up to the highest level any time there is a new level cap so you might lose some enjoyment of future content by doing that. Of course if that happens you could always edit the file again and turn your level down to adjust the XP down.

matt, I had it that way because it would boost everyone's XP to the max before. The message doesn't stop the save from loading, it just returns the XP to the maximum value for that level, which does nothing wrong. That message only shows up if you've used a version of WT# from before Beta11 and went to level 61 or higher. You should really leave it as-is, since allowing users to push their XP beyond the in-game limit is not needed at all and only creates issues.

What issues will it create? The only thing that it will do is make it so people dont see 8 xp flash on there screen everytime they kill something, what would it hurt to add to a number thats already there? The window popping up everytime you load a save will get annoying for anyone who has used the previous versions.

The experience limit is to correct the error with the earlier version of WT which jacked peoples XP value up to nearly the highest value possible if they chose the highest character level. If those people later installed the Knoxx DLC they would suddenly rocket up to level 69. If another DLC was added any time in the future they would again instantly move to the highest level. Just because they chose 61 in a version several versions ago does not mean that they want to automatically have their gameplay ruined in every DLC because their level advances past all of the content before even starting it. I find it difficult to believe that there are many players that intend to ruin their gameplay in that way and that is why I ultimately decided remove the change to lift the XP cap.
If at some point Gearbox decides to punish cheaters by banning them then having an XP value that is completely impossible to achieve in game seems like it would be an automatic red flag. That is a potential future issue, not an actual issue at the moment, but it is something to think about.
