I recently tried editing my back pack space, bank space to 200 and leveled all my gear to lvl 69 to boost their effectiveness but when i selected the save on my Xbox 360 it just starts a new character. I really dont know why its happening so some help would be nice.

I could not duplicate your problem on PC, which is the only version of Borderlands I have available. I took an existing character that had completed playthrough 1, set its backpack space and bank space to 200, went into to the Weapon tab and clicked on Edit All, Levels and set all the levels to 35 (since my character was level 39 and cannot use lvl 69 weapons), then did the same with Inventory, then clicked on File-Save. The new save worked as expected. The items were all level 35. I didn't appear to lose any progress or start over at the beginning of the game.

You will have to e-mail me a copy of your savegame via attachment to matt911@users.sf.net or send me a link to someplace I can download a copy of your savegame if you want me to try to look into your savegame in particular. Before and after copies would be best,

Note that copying Xbox 360 saves to and from an Xbox 360 flash drive requires a third party tool like Horizon or XTAF Explorer 360

It is possible to mess up savegames by changing the file name without changing the save slot number to a corresponding value. The save slot number is edited in decimal but the file name is in hexadecimal so if you had a save that was set to use save slot 11, the filename would be Save000A.sav. If you made a copy of this save and changed the name to Save000B.sav, it would load just fine but when it went to save it would overwrite Save000A.sav if you didn't change the save slot number in WT#.

The safest way to make a copy of a character is to create a new character on your Xbox 360, play until you reach the save point, copy the save to your PC with Horizon or XTAF Explorer 360, open it in WT# and write down the filename and save slot number (on the general tab), then open whichever save you want to make a copy of in WT# and set its filename and save slot number to the number that were in the new savegame and replace the save file for that new character with it back on the USB flash disk with Horizon or XTAF Explorer 360.
