First off. Thanks for keeping the Original Borderlands editable.
WillowTree works great on everything, but the weapon levels in the inventory when set to (for example: 65) they don't stay at that level (65) when equipped in a slot. It reduces it to a lower number (If it was set to 65, it would reduce it, in game, to 62).
This isn't really a big deal, but I would like to get it patched if possible (being that I am, probably, the only one playing the original Borderlands, lol.).
Thanks for the good program :)
P.S. Please don't change the layout on the program. It's easy to understand and easy to edit my character. :)

It's possible the issue you're having is with how weapons/gear are leveled in Borderlands 1: by 9 levels per Quality level. For example, a Quality 0 Torgue weapon is level 10 in-game, Quality 1 is level 19, etc. Other manufacturers' weapons will fall in between (Hyperion Quality 1 = level 15, for instance). I'm really not very familiar with WillowTree (I use Gibbed) but I opened it just now and saw the Quality and Level sliders, and unless I miss my guess, if you use the Level slider, the game itself will round the item down to what matches the Quality. "A level 20 Torgue weapon? Well, the closest things I recognize is Quality 1, which is level 19."

I'm bored, so I'll necro this for fun. The weapons aren't actually changing in level when you equip them, if you unequip them they'll display their true level. The reason this happens is due to WEAPON PROFICIENCIES, which reduce the level requirement for weapons of that type allowing you to equip higher level weapons. The actual damage and whatnot remains unchanged when this happens, it's still the same weapon after all.
