    HI,

I have a PS3 and when I first started using Willowtree it worked with out a problem. Now I am no longer able to save any mods. I try to change the level and weapons and location, however when I save and open the file in willow tree again everything stays accept the location and when i try to export it back to the PS3 non of the changes take affect. The file appears to not have any changes. I also needed to edit the location because I ran into the trash coast glitch where I can't turn in the mission and open trash coast.

Someone else recently reported a similar issue where he could not seem to save and he solved it himself.  I suggested this to him:

"If you are editing savegames directly on the USB stick and not copying them to your PC first then you must be aware that WillowTree# tries to make a backup file every time you use the Save button, so you will end up with a lot of *.BAK files on your USB stick and maybe even on your PS3 when you copy the saved game data to the PS3.   if your USB stick becomes full then there will be issues and in fact WT# might actually delete your old savegame then fail to save the new one because you don't have the free space and so you will end up with no savegame at all.  It will make no BAK files if you use the Save As button."

He had this to say when he found the problem::

"I think my PSN Plus was the problem.  I had online storage turned on, so it was probably trying to access online savegame files instead of the one I was manually putting on my PS3.  Problem solved."

If you can't get it to work I might suggest creating another character, opening it and writing down the name of the savegame file and the Save Number (in the General panel), then opening your old savegame, modifying the Save Number to that number, then using Save As to save over the newly created character's save file.  It couldn't hurt to change the name so you can tell the difference between the two.

Now as for changing the current location, that doesn't work in WillowTree# version 2.2.1.  I uploaded a compiled version of my current development code that can change the current location.  You can download it in the "experimental" folder in the files area.  Be sure to make a backup copy of your character before attempting to edit it in case anything goes wrong.   I don't know if setting the current location to a location you aren't actually allowed to travel to yet in the game will work or will just teleport you to the game's start location.  You'll have to try it to find out.

I tested rev 154 a bit today and found out that item saving didn't work so I fixed it and uploaded a new experimental revision that should do a better job of trying to change the location without messing up the item panel at the same time.
