I just install a new wikindx 4.2.2 for tests : It is no so far from the software my documentalist is dreaming!
But I have no metadata menu… The "Enable the metadata subsystem (quotes, paraphrases, comments etc.) for all users" is activate. So I don't understand… Do I forgot a parameter ? Anybody has an idea ?

For ergonomic reasons – and my question was an illustration of the consequence of that (And before to put this question, I installed a second time wikindx to verify I didn't miss a stage or a parameter), I think menus must be always present, but deactivated if necessary.
It would be, at my mind, an improvement for this already very good software.

If you view a resource then add a quote, paraphrase or musing then the metadata menu should become visible.
