I recently upgraded my version to 6.3.10 everything went ok but now i cannot login using any LDAP account it gives me the error " Error while searching the LDAP catalog "
I am using protocol V3 port 389 i have tried using DC IP and DC FQDN.
When i run the LDAP test from the Admin configuration page it get a response from the " LDAP Test Transaction Report " :
LDAP successfully configured.
Using same accoun to login i get the error above. LDAP login was working ok with previous version 6.3.1
Any idea?

I can't find any substantial change explaining this error.
Or the password is not passed in argument, or the user name is not passed in argument or the return of ldap_search() is not right for a not obvious reason.

Hi,
Keep your previous config, it's probably an error I introduced in the code.
Debugging LDAP is trikier and I have no working installation to test it. Difficult to work blindly.
Did you have any way to provide me an access to your network for a debug session ?

yes do you have an email i can contact you on ?
Hi Elie,
I will leave this to Stéphane to deal with as he is far more knowledgeable about LDAP than I am.

Mark
