I may be asking something that has already been asked in the past (although a quick seach didn't yield anything that seemed relevant) but there is a useful import function in RefBase that automatically imports all necessary field into a new entry by simply providing the DOI. Do people not think that this would be a useful tool for Wikindx?

I don't have the answer as I'm not a programer. What I can say though is that its alraedy been coded into Refbase which is GPL 2. Surely, its a matter of just extracting the relevant code from Refbase and ensuring that its PHP7 compliant (I moved away from Refbase because it had little activity/updates and could not see the long term direction of the project) as 0.9.6 only works with PHP5.

Hi Mark,
I don't have the answer as I'm not a programer.
