I am missing the bibtxt export option, which I assumed was a default function with the plug-in? It only shows Import Endnote as a function under Plugin1 (Latest version)

Logged on as admin in your system, I see under the plugin1 menu:
Export RTF Export BibTeX Export HTML Export Endnote Export RIS Import Endnote
Which is all correct as far as I can see (and I've successfully exported to bibtex). If your config.php $authorize variable is 2, for any of the classes, then that class' functions are only available to admins, if 1, then only to registered users, if 0 then to all.
If you have not made a list (I suspect this is the problem) through search, select etc., you won't see the export options.

Yes you are correct. With selection it works. I should try and put together a users guide. :)
