I see templates (including one I used in v3) in my v4 install under Plugins...but they don't seem to be available to select under the Preferences page. Does this have something to do with the move to Smarty templates in v4, maybe they just haven't been ported over yet?

Hi Brian,
As far as I remember, any v3 templates must be modified to fit v4 and this is something you need to do yourself (and yes, it is to do with Smarty).
And other thing I notice from your post -- templates should be in the templates/ folder not the plugins/ folder.
Hopefully, the standard templates that came with v4 are available to select?
