(I'm still finding interpreting the results awkward, and may after further experience want to suggest a rewording/reordering of e.g. "Comparing differences in 00:19, 3 February 2010 between 19 and 20 while coming from 38:" that may help me interpret the patterns more fluently.)
1. The simple statement "WikiBlame is a php-based tool that helps you find out when a certain phrase was inserted into an article in a MediaWiki " is surprisingly helpful in focusing my view of the user ifc, -- especially since i am frequently interested in when it was *removed* -- and IMO belongs on the http://wikipedia.ramselehof.de/wikiblame.php... page
2. In case there's still doubt, i find the input boxes both flexible and clear, primarily because of the attention that's been given to sensible defaults. Users should not be so concerned as another commenter suggested about whether to consider overruling the defaults, and try trusting the designer's greater insight.
3. It's a little frustrating to use when a page has been blanked by a vandal, and might be less so if the user had an option of a single-click transfer of a date from a results line to the "Start date" boxes, in order to resume searching on the other side of a blanking & restoration.
4. Menu selection of day of month is not as convenient as typing the 2 digits, and in fact its "search for the keystroke" behavior obstructs typing the day of month.
5. Thank you for this valuable tool.

    0. The output of the binary search isn't really worth looking it. The string "00:19, 3 February 2010 " can't be changed, since it directly comes from MediaWiki, the rest is more a kind of debugging output.

    1. inverse search is planned, see https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2795798&group_id=261179&atid=1127548

    2. Thank you - I guess

    3. Might be difficult, since I currently don't have access to the date itself, as it comes from MediaWiki in various language formats. I'll try it, but it may take some time.

    4. I don't understand that one.

    5. Thank you

I really found a way, to make 3 work (but only when searching for plain text instead of wiki text)
