#177 Problems with FTP

Hi,

First let me say this is one hell of an app!  I am very impressed!

I running a brand new wii with firmware 4.2U.  I have softmoded it with
Waninkokos cIOS (249 and 250) V17 and Hermes cIOS (202, 222 and 223) V4. I
am running the latest version of wiixplorer [r134].

I am having several problems with the FTP server.  I am using SmartFTP as
a client.  Here is a list of the problems and suggestions I have so far...

1. Client can not hold a connection.  The Server immediately generates 
an "Internal error" and disconnects the client everytime within 20-30
seconds after the connect.

2. I setup Client "User1" with a username and password and made the FTP
Path /usb. when I connect the user is ignored. I say this for 2 reasons. 
The server logs the client into the root / when I have selected /usb and
if I connect with an invalid password for "User1" the server allows me to
connect when it should not.

3. The server settings need to include an option for Anonymous logins. The
setting should be ON by default.

4. It would be extemely helpful to have an enable debug logging to a file
option in the server settings.  The problem is that when a client logs in,
the commands role by so fast the you can not read them.

5. Why does the server settings include a username and password?  What is
this used for?  I setup "User2" with a username of "admin", assigned it a
password and FTP path of /usb. When I started the server it did seem to
login as "User2".  The password was displayed in plain text which probably
should not be.  It also did not pick up the FTP path as it started in the
root /.

6. Sure would be nice to have a META.XML and ICON.PNG for this app?

The FTP Server is buggy and will be removed as it is now and replaced by another FTP
Server. Read the Issue 86 for more info.
