#I tried to perform system bindings from webbrowser but I got lots of 
errors.

I have deployed wifiadmin version 0.2.5 but unfortunately that issue "No 
wireless Interfaces found" has not been solved.

Would you mind retrying from cvs (version 0.2.1)

Also if this does not work what does that console at the bottom line 
state as the last command ?

If yoi don't see the console you should enable by setting at the 
config/config.php  $C_show_console = true ;

Thank you very much for your fix patch to script router_init.php.
This patch is working well but fortunately I am facing another problem now.

When I select menus on left side of screen:
Wireless Status
Wireless Settings
Wireless Security

I allways got message that:
No wireless Interfaces found

I have also downloaded cvs version from sourceforge which has very the same 
issue as above.
Version which I downloaded lately from cvs is: Version 0.2.0

I would like to ask you very kindly for some suggestion what should I 
doublecheck here, please?

Hello, the PHP 5.3, 5.4 issues have been resolved. Also the sql ddl has 
been corrected to use ENGINE instead of TYPE.

I am still working on some things so until the release you can try the 
current cvs version with:

Hey Radovan,
maybe you missed my answer. In brief there are a some PHP 5.3, 5.4 
incompatibilities and deprecations.
Actually I have started working on an update to resolve theese, that 
hopefully will lead to a release in the near future. I would be happy if 
you could conduct beta testing (ideally to test all the user schenarios) 
when this is done.
In the meantime, if you cannot wait, you could try downgrading to php 
5.2 or co-installing as a secondary interpreter.

before. I have hostapd wifi service on my server and I was looking for 
something nice – to get some statistics about connections etc ... I think 
your rrdtool solution is best here around and also all another features look
very fantastic and I very appreciate your hard work.

Hello
please verify that this file (routers.ini) is readable as the webserver 
user.
E.g. in a root shell try
# sudo -u <webserver-user> cat <full/path/to/routers.ini>" " 
Can you try theese (one at a time):
1) Clear you browser cookies and retry
2) Verify that that the mysql database is populated correctly (e.g. 
reinstall)

Did you upgrade from a previous wifiadmin version ?

By the way this software has not been tested with php 5.4 so be prepared.

Nope, I just checked it. Its broken duo to a php incobatibility.

Quick patch attached.

But it raises warnings caused by php 5.4 incompatibilites....

Can you try theese (one at a time):
1) Clear you browser cookies and retry
2) Verify that that the mysql database is populated correctly (e.g. 
reinstall)

Did you upgrade from a previous wifiadmin version ?

By the way this software has not been tested with php 5.4 so be prepared.

You could make the comunity a favor and test the functionality of your router with wifiadmin and report it here.. We intent to constract a Harware Compatibility List when wifiadmin migrates to another OS. Also what exactly is a linux linksys router? Is it a customized router with some small distro (like voyage) or a commercial solution.

In addition, we seek developers to support other *nux flavors/ routers as well as translations. You are welcome to participate and implement an interface for your routers. There is a distinct API to guide you..

No we don;t have a demo online right now.

  This is expected as new functionality requiring PHP5 has been included.  
  Back at dev times i couldn't think of a good reason for someone not to update to PHP5 since the 4.x branch support IS discontinued :
(from  http://www.php.net/downloads.php ) :
Support for PHP 4 has been discontinued since 2007-12-31. Please consider upgrading to PHP 5.2. The release below is the last PHP 4 release.

The good news are that core functionality is PHP4 compatible as 1)wifiadmin used to comply with php4 and 2)PHP5 is at most php4 compatible.. In addition i'll try to avoid writing PHP4 incobatilble code.

Now for your case you could :
 1)Write a patch easily (e,g, the affecting file uses OO PHP5 model ,which should be trancripted to PHP4 OO code in order to be OK).
 2) Skip the installation scripts for database and : drop your db, use the install/mysql.sql file to create the database as it as explained at the README for "the old manual way" Step 2...

As a last notice i would not recommend someone to leave a PHP4 webserver up n running...
