Sorry for starting all these new topics... I can't seem to help it. Forums might be better than an email list for development, that way topics would be more easily separated and categorised. I'd be interested in joining in once I have some free time, if you guys don't mind. I had a couple of ideas about the game too. I saw the posting about how the game logic using an event queue earlier, maybe it'd be good if there could be a scriptloader to go with the maps? This would make more redundancy between maps but would also allow scripted world events and disasters. Things like landslides, storms, even hostile animals like lions that try to attack men (hence making the hunter essential even after he's killed all the rabbits). Maybe not everything would be scripted, but the map related stuff could be loaded from file couldn't it? Also I'm not sure but I think the men are a little small - especially for monitors with modern resolutions (they look like tiny bugs on my screen). Maybe there could be a higher resolution set of graphics for a 'zoomed in' view? I'm aware that the graphics sets are far from finished and I'd like to help contribute there too... _________________________________________________________________ Chat via SMS.
