Why "won't fix". I could understand, if you don't have resources for doing this on your own.
But why can't I get a pointer for doing that implementation as additional feature?

If for some reason you have not noticed it yet, the project has been officially abandoned for about two years now. So all development is stopped and I see posting new requests as completely pointless.
Of course this project is open source and someone might come with an idea to make an update. However I see it extremely unlikely as no one had ever shown such an interest during the years when the project was active. There are also some technical problems with some outdated dependancies, especially in the plugins handling programming languages, so little can be done with it. Hence if you count on having modern features and regular updates you should consider migrating to a supported project.
