Hello
I mentioned this in previous post but I have some workshops coming up in late June where I will need to produce a Data Dictionary of my StarUML Data Models... quite a bit of manual work if I need to copy/paste properties and Collections into Word to make the Dictionary.
If anyone knows how to script the Documentation Generator to export into Excel or Word things like Entity Name, Entity Description, Attribute Name, Attribute Description, Data Type, Null / Not Null, Domain, PK/FK, Remarks... let me know!
Thanks
StarUML authors published a paid book/ebook about using Documentation generator but personally I did not look at it yet. You may find a link on their web page. You may also ask this question on the StarUML forum as the traffic there is somehow bigger.

Since the .uml files are in ASCII I'm thinking of simply querying the reports I need (Data Dictionary Definitions and other ad-hoc reports) directly from it. I can load to SQLite and run a fes simple queries. Does anyone know by any change the Object Model (Data Model) of the .uml files?
