I think it's better to support a new view for class diagram:
class notations divided with private/protected/public just like in Delphi.

Currently you can sort attributes and operation to group them by visibility using the Collection View. I think an option to do it automatically there could be useful. However adding new sections to the class view on a diagram would not be conforming to the classic UML. Probably such an extension would work best as an extra profile but I have little experience with that at this time.
