I wouldn't say the office 2003 theme is ugly but I'm not exactly a fan of the blue color up in my face. Are there any dark themes? Preferably like that to visual studio or something like staruml2.
The program comes with two more UI themes configurable through View - UI Theme. None of them is blue ;)
The used GUI library in its bigger version has quite a large selection of various themes including Dark Visual Studio

but its price tag is somehow out of the reach for open source projects.

To be fair those two are just ugly, lol. Well guess ill just have to bite the pillow.
