I'm via MSN every day from 9 in the morning till 18:00 hs; i'm working but i'm able to talk freely. if not we can set a special day at night. regards David Roguin -- Game Programmer > 1. Back to the topic, I must say that UML diagrams are fine, I think that for a simple scene nothing else should be needed. Is it time to start coding or something else is needed (we all know that a 3d artist is utterly necessary, but I'm referring to other stuff here)? > Is there any particular time we can meet on MSN? > Regards > > David Lemma |

Hi, First of all, let me apologise for the obvious lack of activity and response. I've been extremely busy. Hello, about the file in MSWord format: not everyone has MSword to read it (altough the aboword does his job pretty well). second (most important) read this link about the CVS handling binary files. http://sourceforge.net/docman/display_doc.php?docid=768&group_id=1#binaryfiles my suggestion is to edit your document with the editor you must like and save it in a not-binary format, read rtf or html. that's all. i've used Doxygen to document C code, but i guess PyDoc will suit our purposses just great. Regards David Roguin -- Game Programmer |

Probably PyDoc will be enough, though I haven't test it extensively. Don't know about any other really good tool to document the code, do you? i know i say that lasnitght i was going to put a screenshot with the uml. but i was investigating about the cvs. well, we have our first project up in the cvs, it's about the uml and i put it an uml in umbrello format (that's an xml file). to check it out just do this. 1- log in in the cvs: $cvs -d:pserver:<name>@cvs.sf.net:/cvsroot/whiteking login 2- checkout the imported module $cvs -d:pserver:<name>@cvs.sf.net:/cvsroot/whiteking co uml huala! that will create a directory named uml with a file inside. Because cvs doesn't handle very well binary files, i'll send via e-mail the uml-image later. ok? that's all. bye. David Roguin -- Game Programmer |

hi, i'm thinking about the scenes and making a draft in UML with the 'Umbrello'. Do you have it? I believe it's one of the best Open soft applications to do UML. If you don't have it, i recommend to download it o else i just can put the screenshot on the project. pd: why don't you put the Design Docs to the page (i guess it would give as somre activity percentile :) ) bye |
