I have only the latest Whichbot and its included metamod installed on my computer. Waypointed a few maps but I cannot figure out why it will not accept my waypoints for the hives. No matter how I place the points I am unable to pass the walkability check. I have tried putting a point directly under the hives in ns_stormsiege and several in circles around them on ns_subway. Anyone have any thoughts?

The "walkability test" is not entirely acurate. If you really want to do your own walkability test, just enable sv_cheats and go gorge. Walk around the map and take notes to what waypoint paths you can see. If you see a path broken on a steep ramp but it is walkable, try making the 2 waypoints on either end of the broken path, ladder waypoints. This will complete a path that gorge and onos can walk where they normally couldn't. Just don't try doing that to a pathway that a gorge just can't reach on it's own.
Teleporters are pretty much completely hopeless at the moment. Try as you might but they will not go through a teleporter.

Got that part down. I dont have any issues with elevators or ladders that I know of. At Least the skulks dont have issues. My problem is that I cant get anything to evolve and I think that it is due to Whichbot thinking that the waypoints are broken (at least according to a prev post that could be the cause.) The upshot of this is- No gorges; no building- among other things. Skulks are fun to shoot but variety is nice too.
Like I said near as I can tell from the walkability test none of the hives are considered "in the waypoints". I fail all the hives on any sets I have done. Sets I have from other sources DO NOT fail so I am trying to figure out what I am doing wrong.
I have checked them as a gorge no worries there; bots navigate the map fine but nothing but skulks anywhere.

Nevermmind. I found a few broken waypoints in odd places that fixed everything. Sorry for the confusion! To all you that are just starting out waypointing. I recommend doing your points as a gorge as much as possible. The you can see broken points as they occure- It can save you alot of time later!

I have always done my waypoints as marine as it is easier for me to set the main layout that way. Plus, it helps determine required headroom for fade and onos when climbing ladders and such. Can't do that as well as a skulk. I only go skulk to do the vents and other hard to reach places.

Nah KaBo0m. Whichbot automaticly disables debug mode as soon as another player joins so no. You can't waypoint for whichbot with a friend. You can do that with Rcbot though.

Gorge is good, onos is better.

That does make sense.
Hey Sandman do you ever have someone help you or do you do all your waypoints alone?

Ah ok! Thx :) You are always teaching me things every day
