The error message says that after writing some number of bytes, it expected to be at a certain position in the file, but was not. This is a very low-level error indicating a problem with your file system, not Celera Assembler. If your hardware is the problem you'll have to move to another file system. Let's assume the error was spurious and won't happen again. The easiest way to restart is to wipe out your 4 directory; your next runCA will start from there. I'm not sure whether we could restart within the 4 step and harvest the outputs so far, but it might take mucking with the code a bit; let us know what you decide to do.

This particular bit of code is disabled in the latest version, but the assembler then fails a horrible death with apparent data corruption in data files.

Closing old case. Lustre and BeeGFS don't work well with wgs-assembler.
