#19 Team Collaboration/Group Publishing

This is a big big request, one I've been fantasizing about
for some months. I think it would be a fantastic add on
for this mod, instead of creating a separate functionality
altogether. And I need it desperately ;)

Concept:
---------
Add KB functionality so that site users can make
requests for team members to write articles on certain
subjects for the KB.

Uses:
-----
CD Reviews, tech documents, in depth "how to" not
covered by FAQ, site specific

Workflow:
---------
- It can have a "submit request" link that sends the bat
signal out to a designated admin or usergroup that
says "there's a request for you to review band X's CD
(or to write an FAQ). Click this link if you're interested."

- Interested users click link to add their name into
the "author pool", and EITHER the kb chooses the first
interested party or allows the admin to assign the article.

- The KB will have a separate area of "in progress"
article requests, that lists what's been assigned, what's
not been assigned, who it's been assigned to, when the
article is due.

- Using either built in date or requiring mycalendar
installation, the KB can keep track of what articles are
due or milestones are due, and will email the author with
reminders & keep the calendar/"in progress" page
updated so requesters can see the progress.

- When milestone is due, a link is sent to the author
that attaches to a specific "template" for the kind of
article written. When the article is submitted using that
template (or hidden var) then the article is sent to
admin for proofing and marked as complete. Perhaps add
later an "incomplete" field where a new due date is set if
the author has to redo something.

this also opens up a bunch of possibilities...like "paying" or
rewarding authors with items from the shop, cash mod, etc.

I'll make it so that you can create draft articles (save
articles so that you can finish them later) and so you can
have multiple users per article. I'm not sure about the
Milestones though. If you want to help do these features,
email me or contact me in some way.
