Attached is a tar.gz file which contains a FreeBSD port of Webware for Python. Note that this is not a
"port" in the usual sense but a specifically packaged version for FreeBSD (see
http://www.freebsd.org/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/handbook/ports-using.html\) and maybe other *BSD
systems.
I leave it to you whether you include the files in the Webware CVS (they will also be included in the
FreeBSD CVS in the future), put the whole tarball on your server or simply link to
http://www.sschwarzer.net/download/webware_port-0.2.tar.gz .

If there is a newer version, we can put it in the
SourceForge file section. Currently, Webware release 0.9.2
is in preparation.

Hello Christoph,
I'm somewhat surprised now. I thought, according to
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=ports/90836 ,
the Webware port had been updated to 0.9 some time ago.
As I don't use FreeBSD (since a few years), I asked
Choe, Cheng-Dae <whitekid@gmail.com> , who had sent me a
patch for the update to 0.9, to take over maintainance.
He agreed by private email, so I suggest you ask him.

Hello Stefan, don't worry. I just was clearing up, closing
long forgotten Webware tracker issues which were still open.
As I don't use FreeBSD, I did not know about this.
