Can Webdistro be used a public and private calendar?
where the public calendar is always the default and then a private user would have to sign in to get to there private calendar etc..

Well, the way it is supposed to work is it defaults to a private calendar. You have to give people access to that event before the can see it. Thats where the group public, global public, private and selected users come into play. You can mix and match these for the most part. Give everyone for two groups access to an event and 1 person who is not appart of those groups.
