We have ours set up so that students and faculty cannot login to Blackboard
directly. This was done in order to drive traffic to the portal to try to
increase portal use. We have allowed a few faculty who use Respondus to
login directly because we could not get Respondus assessment uploads to work
with authentication having to go through the portal.

Yes, they can use our portal or go there directly at our branded page

Hi all,

 

A quick informal survey:  

 

If you use a portal with single sign-on to Blackboard, do students/faculty
also hvae the option to log in to Blackboard directly (using a Bb login
page), thus bypassing the portal?
