1.) I don't see a way to transfer all content to GitHub. So I would loose history, forums etc... which is not what I want.
2.) I was hoping that SF.net would provide a feature to sync GIT/SVN on their platform so that one can provide both: GIT and SVN. But the ticket for that is still open for years now.
3.) On the other side, GitHub (although technically possible) does not offer a way to sync to a SVN "golden repo" using git-svn. So I would need to do this manually or setup a server to do so.
GIT will be available if one of these 3 limitations is no more.
Do you have any thoughts on moving to GitHub, or anywhere else?
I find GitHub to be more feature-rich than SourceForge. Also, personally, this is now the only SourceForge project to which I actively participate.
Obviously, whatever you prefer is fine... but if you need a tiny nudge to move the project to GitHub, here it is! :)
