I'd like to monitor the website of an organization I belong to, but to get to that page in my browser, I need to log in. WCM seems to fail when trying to monitor the page - On the Information tab on the"Result" line, I get "CURL error" and on the Ping line, I get:
host: 'unknown' (IP: 'unknown'); response: 0.00ms
However, when I click the "Open" button next to the Address: on the Information tab, it opens tot eh right webpage flawlessly.

Maybe it's not a login/password issue, but what do you think is going on and how can I get WCM to monitor that page?

Pages that require a login usually set a certain cookie or header information to proceed to the actual page. That is what happens in your browser, esp. if you have logged in before. You need to "emulate" this behaviour by either asking the administrator of that webpage or analysing yourself using debug tools that are present in most browsers these days. What you have to look for - I cannot tell, unfortunately. There are way too many possibilities to give you a hint. If you company supports internal proxies, this might be another option.
