I have istalled macam onto my computer but when I plug in my webcam (Logitech Quickcam Connect), macam does not detect any camera devices. Do I need to download any additional files/why is macam not detecting a webcam?
I have tried unplugging the webcam and re-plugging it, it connects directly to a USB port on my Mac iBook G4, running off OS X 10.4

I have the same problem with my quickcam connect. I use a mac mini and I have restarted my mac, reinstalled macam, and plugged/unplugged my quickcam. The system prefrences says that the audio input is working (mac minis don't have built in mics) but macam cannot detect any camera.

We are experiencing the same problems as the first two posters here: macam doesn't recognize our Logitech QuickCam Connect, which is directly connected to a built-in USB port. This happens both on a PowerBook G4 running OS X 10.5 and on a Mac Mini G4 running OS X 10.4. For some reason, the audio input does work.
