After last Chrome update (build 69.0.3497.81) WebAutoType is not checking the URL anymore and I'm not obtaining the expected credentials for the page from Keepass.
Is anybody else experiencing this issue?
Thanks in advance.

Looks like Chrome have broken their accessibility detection again. Until they fix it, you have to either add "--force-renderer-accessibility" to the chrome command line, or go to "chrome://accessibility/" and turn on the "Native accessibility" and "Web accessibility" checkboxes. Sadly Chrome won't save that setting after restarting.

I'm using WebAutoType since several years now (on several web broaser (Chrome ; but also Opera or Firefox)
I use it mainly for auto fill my acount + passord on my different web sites and it was working fine till few weeks ago.
-> I do that by using keyboard keywords (ex. "maj+ctrl+K"<-> setup did in menu "tool/options/global auto-type field")
But since a certain couple of monthes now, it's no longer working fine...
For few web site, the keyword trig the AUTO-FILL of user + password... and most of the time not!
Of course, in the "auto-type tab / target windows / target URL" I continue to use * at the end of URLS (ex. http:www.toto.fr/* ) to trigg AUTO-FILL on all URL like "www.toto.fr/xxxxxxxx"
It was working well during years ... but now not!
Does somebody else have this kind of problem ?
Is it related to a KeePass version ? WebAutoType version? a New setup required ? Other?
I'm a bit lost because tried several setup and re-instal and stil the same.
thanks for your help (in case)
PascR.
Keepass version = 2.39.1 (i tried also with higher and the same)
WebAutotype version = 5.2.2.0

Yes, when I test the release version now it does not seem to have the fix in it. I don't know why. Until Chrome bug 881753 is fixed in an official release, you will have to use the workaround I already mentioned. Opera is just Chromium with a different shell, so would be affected by the same bug.

Hi,
OK, so if well understood it related to web broaser version...
So means : we must dowgrade the version if we want that works correctly ?
But what's crazy is that not unworking for all URLs...
For this forum by example, it's working well : at the connexion page, I do "ctrl+Maj+K" and hop : directly connected! :-)))
But at this page "https://www.shoop.fr/je-me-connecte/" it's NOT :-(((
Crazy ...

Either downgrade, or add "--force-renderer-accessibility" to the chrome command line. Or use Firefox.
I suspect the reason it might work on some pages is if it is matching by title? Some websites will have a title that matches your entry, so will work, and some will not.

Hi everyone!
Here's a workaround until Chrome is fixed:
Simply install https://keepass.info/plugins.html#urlintitle on your browser to add the current URL to the browser's window title and that will make Keepass match the entry.

That ist the trick! I worked around this not function features for weeks. Many Thanks!
Couldn't make it work with "chrome://accessibility" flag.
The startup parameter did the job!
Thanks for the heads-up.
I have filed https://bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=881753 , we'll see if it gets fixed. I have verified that it worked on 68, and does not work on 69.
Hi,
I started to explain here
https://sourceforge.net/p/webautotype/discussion/general/thread/ea9724f3/#e1bb
but my mistake : not the good location to do that..
So I try here. :-)

If you are using Chrome 69 then it is probably the issue described in this thread. For a workaround, see my earlier post
my current Chrome Version is : 70.0.3538.102 (Build officiel) (32 bits)
and
my opera version :56.0.3051.104

what is strange is :
Before, the same URL was working
Now : no longer
:-S
Firefox : I don't really use it at the moment... but I will try in case ;-)
Came here to report same issue in Chrome v70. Will try command line switch or wait for browser fix. Thanks all.
