This is the only plugin that cannot be checked by the KeePass Update Checker. Can you please change WebAutoType so, that the KeePass Update Checker also takes this plugin into account?
If you want to use the KeePass Check for Updates function to check for updates to this plugin
then it requires the SourceForgeUpdateChecker plugin to be installed too:

OK. Many thx for your response. But i wonder why i need another plugin, when there is such a functionality build in to KeePass itself. Why it isnt working with the standard way?
For the standard way, I would need to maintain a separate system to Sourceforge to serve the version information, and maintain it indepenedently. The plugin allows it to simply query sourceforge itself for the latest version rather than using a separate system.
It still uses the KeePass functionality, just sits underneath it to allow the KeePass update checker to check Sourceforge.
