Dear all, after installing`'shell in a box' I can connect to my server and enter username and password. But confirming this Im always rejected with an incorrect login. Same uname/passwd by putty works without any problems. Any suggestions?

Hi all,
Jamie Cameron was so kind to send me this mail to solve the problem:
Do you have an /etc/pam.d/login file on your system? It controls login access, and should contain the same thing as /etc/pam.d/sshd, which is presumably correct if you can SSH in.
That it was.
Daniel
