Hi Dan, This definately isn't a MySQL issue, as I can't see how it could effect a= n FTP server. Which FTP server are you using by the way? - Jamie -----Original Message----- From: da...@so... Hi, I'm using Proftp as a standalone. I thought it might be the client but it works fine on the other slack 10.0 machines. Thought it might be because of accessing through the IP address but it comes up the same using a domain address. I've thrown the question up on the LinuxHelp.org board under the slackware distro to see what's up. To: web...@li... This appears to be a apache related now. If I login the domain account as a unix user then the ftp works fine. I still have issues here with the php and ssl. I'd managed to get the ssl working but a system reboot wiped that out. Now the apache default webpage doesn't even appear. The webmin apache module just doesn't want to work with the slackware mod installs. Today I'll uninstall the the apache, php and mod_ssl packages and try to grind through a manual apache 2 install. I read somewhere also that mysql is supposed to be installed before installing the php mod, I wonder if that's been a problem also? Thanks, Dan From: da...@so...
