Hi Marcos,
I haven't personally run Webmin on Vserver or OpenVZ, but I have used it with no problems on Solaris Zones, which are similar. As long as the virtual environment doesn't place any restrictions on processes running as root or available ports, Webmin should run fine.
Some virtual/jail environments that I have seen don't allow the same port to be used between different servers, meaning that you need to run specially modified mail servers and so on. But if OpenVZ doesn't do this, Webmin should run fine.

Is there any problems with linux-Vserver or OpenVZ with webmin usermin or
virtualmin?
I'm in the planning stages of setting up a new server for a client. I like
the idea of virtual servers, even if I have only one client in the
server.. I do like the idea that I can always check from the host server a
virtual that have been compromized... and also I can set up two identical
virtuals... if the active one is compromised, while I investigate what's
going on... I can activate the other!
In any case... I would like to know if there are any problems with my
favorite GUI :)... that I do need to be aware of... I use in other server
and old virtualizacion scheme... and with that virtualmin was very
difficult to set up...
and.. even if OT... which one would you recommend???? I like from OpenVZ
that each virtual has access to its own IP tables... in the other hand...
I like to support and use real community projects like linux-Vserver
(OpenVZ is the open source rendition of virtuozo... )
TIA
Marcos
