Hi James,
Vernon's pointer to my books BIND chapter and additional BIND
documentation will be a good start. Once you've gotten started, you'll
have some ideas for what specific questions you need to ask. It's
nearly impossible for us to answer such an open-ended question--there
are books written about configuring BIND because it is a very big topic
(the indisputable best book being the O'Reilly book "DNS and BIND" by
Cricket Liu and Paul Albitz, which I highly recommend to every system
administrator...it's probably the first book a system administrator
should add to his or her collection).
I also wanted to add that you should upgrade to the latest version of
Webmin. 1.170 is a bit old. The latest version 1.220 will have fewer
bugs, have more features, and possibly have security fixes (though I
don't recall any specific security issues since that version) over 1.170.
