I'm using Redhat 7.2 and webmin 0.92. When I try to configure the printers, none of Redhat printer drivers are available. The drop down only shows postscript or text as a driver to select from. On my 7.1 machine, all the drivers are there. This box was upgraded from 7.1. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Tim Brier. |

I forgot to mention that when I configure the printer from pringconf-gui, all the drivers are available and there is no problem printing. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Craig White" <cra...@az...> To: "Timothy Brier" <br...@ce...> Cc: <web...@li...> Sent: Wednesday, January 23, 2002 9:41 PM Subject: Re: Redhat 7.2 Printer Configuration > On Wed, 2002-01-23 at 18:21, Timothy Brier wrote: > > I'm using Redhat 7.2 and webmin 0.92. Hello, Forgive the newbie sound of this question, but the webmin info stated a support for qmail. In order to make changes in the qmail modules, do I use the Server - Sendmail module in webmin to make these changes? And do I retain full sendmail functionality as defined in webmin under the qmail module? Thanks in advance for your advice. I was just concurring with the original poster. On another front - something changed with the webadmin-list a month back so the reply-to is the original poster and not the list. Can this be switched back? Craig |

No, you'll use the Servers:QMail module. Sendmail and QMail are not configured in the same way. QMail does have Sendmail compatibility programs in order to allow it to drop-in to an existing Sendmail environment, but the purpose of these is to allow existing scripts, delivery agents, etc. to work without major changes. I'm confused by your question: "And do I retain full sendmail functionality as defined in webmin under the qmail module?" If you are using QMail, you have QMail functionality and you use the QMail module to configure it. If you are using Sendmail, you have Sendmail functionality and you use the Sendmail module to configure it.
