I am unable to connect by ftp to the virtual server. I have to allow someone else to ftp into the website directory and I don't want them to go through ssh or port 22 and because they can move beyond the website home directory.</div> <div> </div> <div>When trying to connect to proFTPD on port 21; and I even shut the firewall to make sure it was not a firewall issue, I get the following:</div> <div> </div> <div>No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.<br/> Connection failed.</div> <div> </div> <div>I assume that since proFTPD ships with virtualmin that it can be used to allow ftp connections to virtual servers website directories. Therefore, it must be a user error on my part. FTP to domain owners should work out of the box. What FTP client are you using there? Can you connect via FTP from the Virtualmin system to itself?
