An option actually exists for this already. To stop users from seeing . files, do the following : 1) Go to the Webmin Users module 2) Click on the user's name 3) Down near the bottom, click on the Global ACL link 4) On the form that appears, change 'Hide dot files in file chooser?' to No. - Jamie On 27/Oct/2006 13:33 Morris wrote .. > yes > > > Jamie Cameron wrote: > > On 27/Oct/2006 12:32 Morris Hooten - SLS Business Infrastructure wrote > .. > > > >> Is there a way to limit seeing .files or .directories in the > >> upload/download module? > >> > > > > Do you mean in the popup file chooser, where users can select files > > on the server side? > > > > - Jamie |

Not currently possible, at least not through the GUI. In the next release you'll be able to set it at :
Webmin -> Usermin Configuration -> Access Control Options
But for now, it can be done by adding the line nodot=3D1 to /etc/usermin/user.acl

=A0- Jamie

On 28/Oct/2006 13:38 Morris Hooten - SLS Business Infrastructure wrote .. <blockquote type=3D"cite"> what if you are using usermin though?

Jamie Cameron wrote On 10/27/06 17:21,: <blockquote type=3D"cite" cite=3D"http://mail.webmin.com/mailbox/mid...@ww...">
An option actually exists for this already.
