I'm just curious what some of you might be using to do this. Does someone possibly make a module to do this? I am familar with other products like ensim that do this, but I have yet to see anything like this for Webmin. Shane Milton |

Thanks, I've been looking into using the mod_throttle 'VOLUME' for apache. I would prefer a method in which to monitor bandwidth of ALL a users network traffic. Whether it be FTP, SMTP, or HTTP. If I use the apache modules it is only going to monitor HTTP :-/ Shane Milton -----Original Message----- From: Valics Lehel [mailto:lv...@gr...] Sent: Wednesday, August 20, 2003 12:59 PM To: web...@li... I'm using RedHat 7.3 I've now found a way with Webalizer to "monitor" both the HTTP and FTP traffic. However, it's not as easy to view all the users, as I would like it to be. I'm working on making a script or page that will show me only the bandwidth usage graphs, and info for all/each users. Hi, I'm starting a small web hosting company, and I was wondering if there was a way to use the webalizer module in usermin. So far I haven't found a seperate module, but I have run into "Virtualmin Virtual Servers" this will allow me to configure webalizer for WEBmin, not USERmin. I think it would be too confusing for my non internet savy customers to have to log into both webmin and usermin just to check different things. Is there a way I can put all the modules under just USERmin or just WEBmin? thanks -ben |

I read the Apache FAQ, but, there is no mention of enabling Webmin with SSL under Apache. Is Webmin compatible with Apache and SSL? Can I use the Webmin certificate? I am accustomed to the simple Webmin interface when enabling SSL. Unfortunately the Webmin config module is not available under Apache. I like the intuitive interface to SSL under Webmin. It would be wonderful if it was availabe for Apache also. In the mean time, is there anything I should know in order to run Webmin with Apache and SSL? Thanks. -Andrew Kornak |

It gathers the info based on traffic going through the system (2 bridged ports), so you only need one box to monitor your entire network. It also graphs the traffic and allows you to let your customers view their traffic without a login. Over 2000 ISPs use the product in one form or another. Its actually a complete bandwidth management solution, but many ISPs use it just for billing. We also have a webmin module that is included with the product. www.etinc.com Dennis Emerging Technologies, Inc. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www.etinc.com Bandwidth Management Appliances Bandwidth Management software for LINUX and FreeBSD |
