-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Howdy folks, Looking at my eMail with the latest UserMin-"devel" I encountered a problem with GnuPG. <cat> GnuPG signature verification =46ailed to verify signature : <pre>gpg: Warning: using insecure memory! gpg: please see http://www.gnupg.org/faq.html for more information gpg: invalid armor header: www.pgp.com </pre> </cat> Well this is not because PGP8 seems to be incompatible somehow, but entries to usermin/mailbox/ulang/en view_gnupg_4=3DFailed to verify signature : $1 exspecially "$1" seem to be wrapped into <pre>...</pre> which are shown as is (see above) and not as it should be. Do you encounter the same with _this_ eMail which is signed the same way. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: PGP 8.0.1 - nicht f=FCr kommerzielle Nutzung lizenziert: www.pgp.com iQA/AwUBP2HFhOeGGmnk0XBmEQJa3wCgz7l4s+AWbrH0854dU2ug67zakl0An18b 7b5GRS1NRZXci5kTW2ADKGMf =3D5VUJ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- kind regards Martin Mewes --=20 Novacote Flexpack - Division of COIM Deutschland GmbH c/o IT/IS-Department - Hamburg - Germany |

There are two problems here - first, usermin shouldn't be putting that=20 <pre> in, and second the GnuPG signature on your email seems to be=20 broken. The text 'www.pgp.com' seems to have wrapped onto another=20 line, which is confusing gpg when the signature is extracted .. - Jamie Martin Mewes wrote: > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- > Hash: SHA1 >=20 > Howdy folks, >=20 > Looking at my eMail with the latest UserMin-"devel" I encountered a > problem with GnuPG. >=20 > <cat> > GnuPG signature verification > Failed to verify signature : <pre>gpg: Warning: using insecure > memory! gpg: please see http://www.gnupg.org/faq.html for more > information gpg: invalid armor header: www.pgp.com </pre> > </cat> >=20 > Well this is not because PGP8 seems to be incompatible somehow, but > entries to >=20 > usermin/mailbox/ulang/en >=20 > view_gnupg_4=3DFailed to verify signature : $1 >=20 > exspecially "$1" seem to be wrapped into <pre>...</pre> which are > shown as is (see above) and not as it should be. >=20 > Do you encounter the same with _this_ eMail which is signed the same > way. >=20 > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- > Version: PGP 8.0.1 - nicht f=FCr kommerzielle Nutzung lizenziert: > www.pgp.com >=20 > iQA/AwUBP2HFhOeGGmnk0XBmEQJa3wCgz7l4s+AWbrH0854dU2ug67zakl0An18b > 7b5GRS1NRZXci5kTW2ADKGMf > =3D5VUJ > -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- >=20 >=20 > kind regards >=20 > Martin Mewes >=20 |

Sorry for the previous mail which just slipped out :-( Well this is no GnuPG-Signature but a PGP8.1-Signature ;-) I think you will have a hint on what to do with that <pre>, right? -- http://webmin.mamemu.de/ WebMin-Mirror http://webmin.mamemu.de/download.html WebMin Translations Official Webmin/Usermin Translation Co-Ordinator 2003/2004 http://www.webmin.com/mailing-trans.html |
