Howdy, I just had an eMail-conversation with someone who is telling me that he is blocking all eMails which are _not_ "text/plain". During this conversation I switched to Usermin to write an answer and suddenly I got an eMail that my eMail has been trashed because of this >X-Originating-IP: 193.158.0.42 >X-Mailer: Usermin 1.037 >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary=3D"bound1063106750" While sending eMails back and froth we came to this, that whatever kind of eMail is send with Webmin/usermin it is always something like >Content-Type: multipart/mixed; boundary=3D"bound1063106750" Questions: Why? kind regards Martin Mewes --=20 Novacote Flexpack - Division of COIM Deutschland GmbH c/o IT/IS-Department - Hamburg - Germany |

By default, Usermin always MIME-encodes emails, even if they contain only a single plain text MIME part. However, there is an option on the Preferences page to have Usermin send pure plain text messages if possible. - Jamie |

Or what matters could cause this not to do? =2D-=20 http://webmin.mamemu.de/ WebMin-Mirror http://webmin.mamemu.de/download.html WebMin Translations Official Webmin/Usermin Translation Co-Ordinator 2003/2004 http://www.webmin.com/mailing-trans.html |

I only made the use of MIME encoding the default for consistency's sake, so that all messages sent by Usermin are MIME encoded. Every mail client these days should be able to it .. - Jamie |

Well maybe just this particular one is plain paranoid :-> kind regards Martin Mewes --=20 Novacote Flexpack - Division of COIM Deutschland GmbH c/o IT/IS-Department - Hamburg - Germany |
