[webmin-devel] Webmin 1.119 and SuSE 9.0 - BugHunt ;-)

Howdy,

lately I come to get a view to Webmin on SuSE 9.0 and found the
following interesting "feature"

System - Bootup and Shutdown - Base Module Configuration

On SuSE 9.0 change

	Directory in which runlevel directories are located

and

	Directory containing master init scripts

to

	/etc/init.d

Current Entry: /sbin/init.d

have a lot of fun :-)

That's odd, because those are the default for SuSE 9.0 now .. at least
in the latest development webmin release.

Hmm ...
What do you mean by that?

Originally SuSE 9.0 came with Webmin 1.070 (iirc).
No changes have been made by myself to anything.

So maybe SuSE changed it to /sbin/init.d in 1.070 and those stuff will
be preserved when upgrading to the original "next" version?

Yes, that sounds like the most likely scenario.. 

What I meant was that if you do a fresh install of webmin 1.119 on a
suse 9.0 box, it will use /etc/init.d as the path.

I will file this to SuSE as a "harmless bug" today.
Maybe they will fix it as an update to "their" webmin.

Didn't test that, but you're probably right ;-)
