I was just curious if there are any plans to add cAos Linux 2.0 into the configuration of Webmin. cAos Linux is a community maintained and managed, RPM based distribution of Linux. It combines aspects of Debian, RH/Fedora, and FBSD in a manner that ends up with a solution that is stable enough for servers and clusters, utilizes a long term life cycle (3-5 years), and built from current cutting edge packages (as of today). It also includes many of the features that are considered standard for desktops and laptops, which makes it a very good general purpose Linux distribution. When I install the current version of Webmin on cAos Linux, Webmin identifies the operating system as Generic Linux 2.6, effectively disabling many of the webmin modules for use. More information on cAos Linux 2.0 can be found at http://caos.caosity.org/ Thanks, and I look forward to the feedback I recieve on this issue. -- James E. Jennison |
