Hi folks, this is the first time your WTCO is asking for help which goes a bit aside Webmin/Usermin. ###################################################################### http://www.host4net.us/ Host4NET is a complete web-hosting management solution dedicated to small and medium hosting companies. This software is developed by 4NET in order to be a competitive alternative to other commercial hosting software solutions.=20 =46or the beginning, Host4net is designed to integrate cleanly into the Webmin system administration tool. A future next step is a synchronization and binding with eCommerce solutions like OSCommerce and CMS applications like PHPNuke or Envolution. Our solution consists of tools for users management, billing support, technical support ticketing and more. Host4Net will at the same time be an application with interface for clients, network administrators, commercial departments and marketing departments.=20 Currently, Host4net is in development stage. We intend to offer our solution as GPL - free software. The entire development process is currently supported only by 4NET. We are accepting sponsorships on behalf of the GPL idea for continuing development of the module. When a total pool of $2500 is collected for Milestone 1, the version 1.00-MS1 of this module will be released to the community under the General Public License otherwise this webmin module will end as a commercial solution. Your contribution and interest can affect the end-status of the module. It is up to you to decide how much you wish to sponsor, there is no limit. However we would like to satisfy the community needs as soon as possible. ###################################################################### I have accepted on helping host4net getting this module which is commercial for now translated into the main languages german, french, spanish, portuguese and (helplessly wanted) flavours of chinese. I will not work as WTCO on this project but I gave a helping hand to the maintainers in order to use the structures of current webmin-translation-procedures. Your work in helping on translating will be refunded by host4net but this eMail is just a first round robin questionaire in order to get feedback if there are willing folks out there who want to give their time to this thing. I will start working on this from 1st of February on if the module is ready to be released by the maintainers. If you want to participate please send an eMail to mm...@me... with the subject "host4net" (important for filtering!) together with the language you would like to take care of. I will forward a list of supporters to the maintainers by the end of this week if there are enough. I do not have clue how work will be refunded, but we may can discuss this on the host4net-MailingList. All supporters will get an invitation to join that list directly from the maintainers. It would be great if I can reach enough people to help out the maintainers on this project. At least you can support host4net with a donation in $$$ ;-) in order to get this module GPLed. No, I do not get money for this off-topic advertisement, but I think it's a good thing to tell you about. =46reundliche Gr=FCsse Kind regards Martin Mewes --=20 Official Webmin/Usermin Translation Co-Ordinator http://www.webmin.com/ http://webmin.mamemu.de/ (Mirror) |
