I am unable to connect by ftp to the virtual server. I have to allow someone else to ftp into the website directory and I don't want them to go through ssh or port 22 and because they can move beyond the website home directory.</div> <div> </div> <div>When trying to connect to proFTPD on port 21; and I even shut the firewall to make sure it was not a firewall issue, I get the following:</div> <div> </div> <div>No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.<br/> Connection failed.</div> <div> </div> <div>I assume that since proFTPD ships with virtualmin that it can be used to allow ftp connections to virtual servers website directories. Therefore, it must be a user error on my part. So if someone can provide a tutorial on what I need to do to allow virtual servers ftp access I will sign your praise to everyone I meet.</div> <div> </div> <div>-Kimberly</div> </div> ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! <a href="http://sdm.link/slashdot-" target="_blank">http://sdm.link/slashdot-</a> Forwarded by the Webmin mailing list at web...@li...
