OP wants to manage websites. Why wouldn't they want to use Virtualmin? That's the "special purpose" it was designed for. So...I think importing into Virtualmin is a reasonable thing to do. What do you think Virtualmin's "special purpose" is, if not this? ;-) And, there is an import function in there somewhere...ah, under "Add Servers->Import Virtual Server". That may or may not do everything that's needed, depending on how much different the original domain was setup. The location of the files may be a problem, since suexec can only work in /home in a Virtualmin system (assuming it was installed using our install script) and can only work in /var/www if you didn't install with the install script.
