Hi everyone, Webmin version 1.140 is now available for download from http://www.webmin.com/ and mirror sites. This release includes the following major changes : * Added the Read User Mail module, which separates the mail reading functionality from the Sendmail, Qmail and Postfix mail server modules, and provides additional functionality. * Added the Cluster Change Passwords module, for updating Unix passwords on multiple systems at once. * Improved the BIND module to allow editing of user-defined record types. * Added an option to the Perl Modules module to have dependencies automatically downloaded and installed from CPAN. * Added suport for SMB filesystems on FreeBSD and CIFS on Linux to the Disk and Network Filesystems module. * The File Manager module can now download an entire directory as a ZIP, or tar.gz archive, and extract multiple files from an uploaded archive. Anyone who is using the mail reading feature of the Sendmail module should switch over to the new Read User Mail module instead, as the ability to read mail will be taken out of the Sendmail module in the next release. Also available is Usermin 1.070, which includes the following changes: * Adding a configuration option to the Custom Commands module for limiting which commands are visible to which Unix users and groups. * The SpamAssassin Mail Filter module now supports searching of the suspected Spam folder. * The Fetchmail module can now set up a Cron job to regularly download email, instead of running the Fetchmail daemon. * As with Webmin, the File Manager module can upload and download ZIP and tar.gz archives. As always, please send me any bug reports or feature suggestions that you might have. - Jamie |
