Nothing.  The Domain SID is needed to construct the sambaSID and 
sambaPrimaryGroupSID.  It isn't used at all for any of the samba2 
attributes. So leaving it blank won't have any impact.  Even having it 
blank while using samba3 won't do much, users just won't be able to 
login to samba.
