webmin and STDERR

Hi:
   i m writing a small webmin program with mysql & perl-DBI.
   i found that if  perl-DBI raise some error message then
   the rest page of webmin will disappear.
   so i try to print something myself to STDERR, and it stops rest pages
   of webmin.
   how can i show STDERR messages to webmin pages?
